You need riboflavin in your diet. It plays a vital role, helping our bodies process protein, fat and carbs into usable energy. You also need it for iron transport and metabolism. Riboflavin, also known as vitamin B2, is naturally occurring in milk, leafy green vegetables, liver, and bakery products which use enriched flour.

If you want more nutritional value out of your meals, eat fewer microwave dinners. These foods are usually very unhealthy, and are rarely cooked well when you make them. Fresh food is always the best way to stay healthy.

When you pay attention to your digestive health, you can lose weight and maintain a lower body weight overall. Drink lots of water, get your fiber and enjoy yogurt for its probiotics.

Think of the colors of the rainbow and the corresponding fruits and vegetables. Colorful fruits and vegetables are low in calories and high in nutritional value.
